Meet the Team

Olivia

Operations Lead / Technician

Olivia is an Operations Lead and Technician at Clear Sight Optometry. Originally from Pennsylvania, she spent time living in Canada before relocating to Temecula with her fiancé to begin an exciting new chapter. Her passion for helping and supporting others initially drew her toward psychology and social work, but she found her calling in eye care, where she can provide hands-on patient care and make a meaningful difference in people’s lives. She knew she had found the right profession when she discovered how naturally patient care, building rapport, and guiding patients through their visits came to her.

Outside of work, Olivia is a self-proclaimed nerd who enjoys video games, movies, anime, and spending time with her fiancé and their corgi, Gordi. She is also a huge roller coaster enthusiast and loves visiting amusement parks whenever she gets the chance.

Tani

Patient Relations Specialist

Tani is a Patient Relations Specialist at Clear Sight Optometry with more than a decade of experience in the eye care industry. Originally from Orange County, California, she spent over 10 years managing a successful optical practice in Huntington Beach, where she developed a passion for patient care and building meaningful relationships. She and her husband relocated to Temecula with their five children, drawn to the area’s welcoming, close-knit community. Tani loves creating a comfortable, seamless experience for every patient and being a reassuring presence throughout their eye care journey.

Outside of the clinic, Tani enjoys spending time with her husband, five children, and six grandchildren. She also loves gardening, cooking, and traveling with her husband, exploring new destinations and making lasting family memories.

Marlene E. serves as the Lead Optician at Clear Sight Optometry, joining the team in March 2025. Originally from San Diego, she relocated to Temecula in 2024, drawn to the area’s family-oriented community, conservative values, and excellent school systems.

Marlene began her career in the optical industry a decade ago, starting as a lab technician where she mastered the technical intricacies of surfacing and edging lenses. After cross-training as an optician, her dual expertise gave her a comprehensive understanding of the field, though her true passion lies in direct patient interaction. For Marlene, the most rewarding aspect of her work is making a meaningful impact on patients’ lives—helping them see clearly while feeling confident in their eyewear.

She knew she had found her true calling when she witnessed the deep patient care and dedication provided by Dr. Love. Being part of a team that prioritizes patient-first care aligns seamlessly with her personal values, and she thrives on making each patient feel valued, comfortable, and happy with their vision care.

Outside of the clinic, Marlene loves spending quality downtime at home with her teenage son and her boyfriend. A favorite weekend tradition for the family includes grabbing Saturday morning coffee and hunting for hidden gems while thrifting. She also enjoys cooking and tuning into true-crime documentaries. Looking ahead, one of her biggest dreams is to embrace van life and travel after her son starts college, exploring new places and making lasting memories along the open road.

Esmeralda Gonzalez serves as an Optometric Technician and Ocular Hygienist at Clear Sight Optometry, having joined the team in December. Born and raised in Wildomar, Esmeralda’s connection to eye care is deeply personal—she has worn glasses since the fourth grade and contact lenses for over a decade.

Her primary passion in the field is Patient Power through education. Whether explaining complex terminology, demonstrating medical devices, or detailing the reasoning behind specific treatment plans, Esmeralda finds helping patients truly understand their eye health invaluable. She firmly believes that empowering patients with knowledge strengthens the doctor-patient relationship and leads to better long-term health outcomes.

Outside of the clinic, Esmeralda is strongly family-oriented and loves spending quality time hanging out with her cousins and nephews. Faith and community service also play a central role in her life: she serves as a Catechist for local teenagers and is an active team member of her church’s young adult group, AGAPE 18:39.

Mariana Tortoledo serves as an Optician at Clear Sight Optometry, having joined the practice in March 2025. She moved to Menifee before starting high school and has called the local area home ever since.

Mariana’s journey in eye care began in 2017 when she worked as an optometric technician while putting herself through college. Over the years, what began as a part-time job evolved into a lifelong career. She transitioned to the optical side after two years and went on to work in nearly every facet of the practice, from direct patient care to office management. This comprehensive background gives her a well-rounded understanding of the industry and a deep dedication to delivering exceptional service.

Mariana knew she was in the right profession as she saw the tangible impact of her work—especially when helping children get their very first pair of glasses. Seeing patients leave happy, confident, and excited about their new eyewear confirms her passion for helping others see the world more clearly.

Outside of the office, Mariana maintains a happy, down-to-earth, and positive approach to life. She enjoys staying active at the gym—balancing out her love for tacos and coffee—and loves going off-roading, visiting the beach, and traveling. Above all, she cherishes exploring new places and making lasting memories with her family and friends.
